What is Reiki? Reiki is a natural energy activated by intention. It works on every level, not just the physical, The practice of Reiki is an original method of healing, developed by Mikao Usui in Japan early in the 20th century. The Japanese word Reiki means " Universal Energy". Eastern medicine has always recognised and worked with this energy, which flows through all living things and is vital to well-being: known as "ki" in Japan, " chi " in China and "prana" in India. Acupuncture, Tai chi Yoga are also based on the free-flow of this energy in a person. Reiki is a non-invasive therapy whose aim is to treat holistically and to restore homeostasis. A session is usually carried out with the recipient lying down, in a comfortable and peaceful environment. There is no need to remove any clothing as Reiki energy passes easily through all materials. The practitioner places their hands gently on or over the body. The recipient automatically draws in only as much energy as is needed, using it in whatever way is most appropiate at the time. Linda is a Reiki Master/Teacher belonging to The UK Reiki Federation. Linda practises Reiki Healing, also carries out Reiki Attunements, Reiki 1, Reiki 2, Reiki 3 (Healing Masters) and Reiki 4 Teacher Masters. Karuna Reiki

Karuna Reiki means life force energy or universal energy. It is a gentle relaxing form of hands on therapy. Karuna Reiki is a safe natural therapy which promotes the bodies own healing ability on all levels; physical, emotional, and spiritual. Karuna Reiki can be used independently or combined with conventional or complimentary medicine. Karuna Reiki is suitable for everyone, alleviating pain and releasing emotional blocks, relieving stress, stimulating the body to restore itself. I am a Registered Karuna Reiki Master, accredited and certificated by The International Center for Reiki Training, the president is William Lee Rand. I can attune others to Karuna Reiki being a accredited certificated Registered Karuna Reiki Master , so enabling Karuna Reiki awareness to spread. Reflexology means the reflection of all the organs, systems and parts of the body on the feet. By applying controlled pressure to the reflex areas on the feet the body is stimulated to achieve its own state of equilibrium and good health. The aim is to clear the energy pathways throughout the body and rebalance body systems promoting balance and harmony. Linda has a Reflexology Diploma certificate trained at Northbrook College.
